The AUCOS Coup automatic coupling
system for trucks and trailers has been
further developed with its proven
components for a customer in Hamburg.
The system is already being used
successfully there, as well as in the USA
and Canada. Assembly is possible for 2”
and 3,5 “ king pins.
The remote-controlled automatic locks
secure containers in seconds. The
previous, cumbersome locking by hand is
eliminated and the driver can be sure that
the container is firmly seated on the
chassis. With the right control, the system
can also be operated by the driver’s cab
The automatic folding support, developed by
RMM Metternich Mechatronik GmbH, enables
trailers to be coupled and uncoupled safely
and conveniently. The system is already being
tested in German, American and Canadian
ports.
